Committed to providing a safe and secure environment for students, faculty and staff. Their mission is to raise awareness of personal safety issues, deter crime through visible patrols and to provide safe escorts to community members. This proactive approach to safety focuses on "students helping students", engaging student volunteers in the direct provision of services, creating a sense of ownership and responsibility.

USC (University Students Council)
The largest student government in Canada that strives to:

PRIDE Western

A University Council Service dedicated to supporting and celebrating gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, two-spirited, intersex, asexual, queer, questioning students, and their allies at UWO. Run entirely by students, PrideWestern organizes speakers, support, and events such as its weekly Thursday night Coffeehouse at the Spoke, and Sunday matinee at Western Film.
