IBC - Intercollegiate Billiards Championship
The 6th annual Intercollegiate
Billiards Championship is coming soon to London. This is a yearly tournament held
by the University
of Western Ontario's
Billiards Society (WBS)!! The tournament will be held the weekend of
Friday, February 8 at Stroker's Billiards & Other Diversions!
On Friday, Stroker's will be holding a $15 entry 9-ball tournament that you can play in if you want to practice. To play in this 9-Ball tournament you have to register with Stroker's before 7 PM and it starts at 7:30. It will be followed by a
Trick Shot Show from 9-11pm by Gerry ‘the Ghost’ Watson! It
promises to be an impressive show as always!! The following morning will
have a complementary breakfast for all participants at 9am. The breakfast
will have eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns, coffee, orange juice and more.
The tournament will then commence some time between 9:30 and 10am!
The top three players will win a
trophy. The winner of the tournament will have their name engraved on the
Stroker’s cup as well as win a custom cue! In addition the players
placing 2nd – 4th will each win a custom cue!
Top female player will also receive a cue! Finally another custom cue will
be drawn as a door prize!!
This tournament is growing and
there are entries from many academic institutions including Michigan State
University who boasts the 2 time IBC Champion, many Ontario universities
and colleges as well as a number of other U.S. schools and of course UWO
players including the current Champ Gary Chang!! For more information
