As one of London’s largest celebration of Black History month, SOUL is a semi-formal, elegant evening showcasing talented Afro and Carib-Canadians from the Western community and the London community as a whole. SOUL over the years has taken on different focuses on the history of black people, from where we’ve come to where we are today and glimpses of where we hope to go. In more recent years, the talent has extended to include more of the University population at large. This has stood as a testimony to the impact that Blacks have had beyond their own community and on to the mainstream population. Soul- An Exposition of Black Artistry seeks to inform, enlighten and most of all entertain us.
