The University of Western Ontario Choir is one of the oldest organizations on campus, catering to students, faculty, staff, and alumni from all programs. Originally the University Glee Club in the 1920's, the UWO Choir was officially formed in 1947 under the direction of Dr. Harvey Robb. The choir was a regular feature throughout the 1950's and 1960's in the "Sunday at Nine" series in Thames Hall, and was the only choir on campus until the faculty of music choirs were formed in the 1960's. To this day, the UWO Choir symbolizes friendship and fun through a mutual love for music.
