Faculty of the Month:
Medicine & Dentistry

Western's medical and dental experts engage the London community this month for the fourth annual Café Scientifique.

The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry stages the event to offer community members a chance to connect with experts to explore, discuss and debate current issues in medical science. Café Scientifique tackles the issues making headlines today: E. coli outbreak traced to spinach, babies screened for more genetic diseases, and stem cell breakthroughs.

At each session, an expert makes a 30-minute informal presentation followedy by an interactive discussion period, during which participants offer their own opinions, ask questions or just listen.

For more information about Café Scientifique, please visit the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry website.
