Playing Fields
Paintball is usually played at commercial paintball parks or arenas. These commercial locations often have trained referees monitoring the action, making sure each player stays safe and has fun. Moreover, commercial parks can have food services, restrooms, equipment rentals, air refills, and dinning areas.
Commercial fields can also come in a variety of themes- including woods, jungle, or city, among others.
Playing fields can be either indoor or outdoor, both offering their own unique advantages. Outdoor fields are typically larger, giving players more room to maneuver and places to hide, while indoor fields allow players to play no matter what the weather conditions might be like outside.
Some players chose to play on their own private land in order to avoid the costs involved with a commercial field. This is often referred to as "outlaw ball" or "renegade play." While this method avoids playing fees, players must own all their own equipment and provide their own supplies since rentals will not be available. Also the lack of instruction and safety protocols make this a more dangerous method of play, and renegade play is not recommended for players new to the game.
The Mustang Paintball Club plays on commercial fields, including Adrenaline Paintball, and Flagswipe Paintball, playing both indoor and outdoor games. These are high quality fields, each offering a dedicated staff, and well maintained equipment.
