March 30 2003 - The Freeze the Fees rally has come and gone. Attendance of the rally was a bit disappointing with roughly 1/3 of last year's attendance. Perhaps this is a clear lesson for the future to avoid holding events during this busy achedemic time of year.

On a positive note, the students who were in attendance were very enthusiastic, and have given me much hope for UWO activism. Arguably more important however, the media did an excellent job at covering the rally. We were therefore successful in bringing attention to the issue, regardless of number of students that participated. Thanks to all of you who helped make this event possible. -matt

March 15 2003 - Flyers and posters for the rally have been designed by Jordan Stone. They will be printed on monday, and the distribution can begin. A digital version of the flyers and posters will be availble online very soon.

Also, last year's radio commercial for feb 6th has been somewhat recycled for use on CHRW. You can download a copy on the 'freeze the fees' page.

March 13 2003 - UWO-PIRG Announces Tuition Freeze Rally!

Last night the London District Labour Council voted to support the Tuition Freeze Rally, and donate $50.

March 9 2003 - Last wed UWO-PIRG held the 3rd education accessibility meeting. USC president Chris Signal was in attendence to help our organizational process along. Meeting minutes can be found on the campaign website.

March 1 2003 - I've added meeting minutes to the Education Accessibility Campaign website. Our next meeting is this Tuesday between 5 - 7pm in UCC 379.

Also, be on the look out for upcoming plans to organize another peace rally this march 15th. -matt

Feb 19 2003 - Last Wed I had the pleasure of hosting the first organization meeting for the March 26th First Freeze the Fees Rally. 13 strong organizers attedned this meeting, and a good deal was accomblish. The meeting recap and information on the next meeting can be found here. -matt
