EnviroWestern is the student answer to environmental issues at The University of Western Ontario, providing both action and advocacy for issues important to students, as well as numerous opportunities for students to get involved.
EnviroWestern is a service provided by the University Students’ Council and therefore has a budget and free membership. This gives us the capacity for creative and effective campaigns, which are limited only by our members’ enthusiasm. Everyone in the Western community is encouraged to get involved!
EnviroWestern, along with the other services, fall into the Campus Issues portfolio of the USC:

Our Philosophy
EnviroWestern’s slogan is “Small Steps, Big Impact”, and we are structured so that every student on campus has an opportunity to contribute in some way. We are broken down into several project teams, with priorities dictated by the priorities of our membership, and the potential for progress.
There are many ways to get involved with EnviroWestern. Basic membership involves being on our mailing list and getting regular information and updates of new opportunities and events in London and on campus. We also encourage you to join project teams that you find fun and interesting, or perhaps even lead your own team. Email usc.environment@uwo.ca for more information.
Our History
The document linked below details how the club/USC service came to be, all the way from our modest beginnings to the instantly recognizable powerhouse that we've become at Western.
