What is the problem?

Environmental solutions are foundational to long term economic success. Currently the world faces a diverse set of issues which contribute to the central problems of deteriorating ecosystems and the depletion of resources. These issues range from poverty and social justice to environmental policy formation in the developed world.

What is the Community Issues Task Force?

The CITF is a branch of Enviro-Western which specializes in information synthesis on environmental movements and technologies. The aim of the organization is to use information resources to invoke positive environmental change in the community of London, Ontario. Our goal is to facilitate economically and environmentally harmonious business transactions which move the community toward a greener lifestyle. Furthermore, members of the task force are encouraged to pursue projects in a creative and innovative fashion.

What are some of the projects the CITF is currently working on?

Education. The CITF is looking to further enact the Talloires Declaration signed by the University of Western Ontario. The aim is to connect with the younger generations of the London community by way of formal presentation at elementary, middle, and high schools across the city.
