Join EnviroWestern!

EnviroWestern's power is limited only by the number of driven & enthusiastic individuals on our team. As a member you would be added to our club's mailing list, where you'll notified of our meetings, and you'll be free to join any of our project teams. You could do as much or as little as you like once you become a member, although naturally we encourage participation. It's a rewarding experience where you'll get to meet a lot of great people, have a lot of fun, and truly make a difference on campus.

EnviroWestern has grown into a very effective force of change on campus, and it's safe to say that any time you invest in the club will be well rewarded with positive results. We have a number of great Project Teams, so have a look and see if any of them look interesting to you!

Joining EnviroWestern is absolutely free. You can join anytime of the year by simply emailing usc.environment@uwo.ca and expressing interest. Be sure to include your full name, and the email address that you'd like us to use when contacting you in the future. Alternatively, we have sign-up tables set up during O-Week, Clubs Week in September, EnviroWeek in October, and Clubs Week II in January. You can join then, or just ask some questions to get to know us better. You can also sign up for any of the project teams simply by entering your contact information as indicated on the individual project team pages.

Do Your Part

Regardless of whether or not you decide to join our club, there are a number of little things you can do to help out with the environment. For instance, you may not want to join our mug team, but you could still do your part to help by buying a mug yourself. You may not have the time to join the club and start up the "water conservation brigade," but you could still do your part by not leaving the water running when you brush your teeth, for example. There are hundreds of little things we can do to live in a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way; on their own these things may seem insignificant, but over time, with enough small steps, you'll make a big impact. So even if you're not a member of EnviroWestern, you can still do your part.
