The Great One

Way of the future

Medway Hall students are preserving their memories.

Because it is the last year the residence will be all male, students are assembling a time capsule. "There's a lot of tradition in this building," said Michael Fakhri, a second-year biology student who sits on the residents' council.

Everyone in the house has been asked to write what Medway means to them which will be included in the capsule. It will also hold, among other things, old yearbooks and a list of frosh week cheers and will be opened in 2025.

Alumni are invited to meet with residents April 7 for a reception.

USC party for ye

The University Students' Council is ending the year with a bash and all students are invited.

The party will start on Saturday at 9 p.m. in the University Community Centre. The Travoltas will play The Wave with Ground South and The Spoke will be home to beer and cigar tasting. As well, the atrium will be home to a Simpsons festival.

Cover is $2 for the party and tickets can be purchased at the Infosource. "It's a good way to end off the year," said Scott Sullivan, VP-student affairs.
