An American movie about the Vietnam War was shown in Talbot College and was met with boos and laughter from approximately 100 Western students this week in 1968.

The movie, Night of the Dragon, was shown as part of international week and "abounded in black and white over-simplifications of the war in Vietnam," The Gazette reported.

A two-hour debate among three faculty members followed the movie and all agreed that it was pretty bad. "Since the film was made in the United States, it shouldn't surprise anyone," said H. K. Khanh, a political science professor and native of North Vietnam.
