Western's Winter Week was under the weather this week in 1975, The Gazette reported, but it was not a very wintery week to begin with.

The Beerfest "Bangles and Bearcats" dance on Saturday was a "fantastic success," despite the theft of a case of liquor from the Thames Hall Gymnasium.

At least 40 people entered the 1930s theme costume contest but a snowball would have won the snow sculpture contest. The week ended on a high note with Leonard Cohen playing at Alumni Hall to two encores.
