Re: coverage of women's rugby

To the Editor:
I would just like to know if the women's rugby team winning bronze in OUA finals is not significant enough for Western to know about – but after all, we are not football right? Well, we did win on Saturday, 7-0 versus Queen's, just in case you cared.

This is not the first time I have written The Gazette regarding this issue. I thought after the lengthy response the sports editors gave me as an explanation, you would not let yourself slip. I guess I was wrong. I am only in first year and I already have lost the desire to pick up your paper which should represent all aspects of Western. Don't get me wrong – I love football and read all the articles about the team, however, every athlete has the right to be proud of a victory such as ours.

I have to say I am truly disappointed. I apologize if you regard this as harsh, but there are a lot of talents here – but just because not every one of them can throw a perfect spiral, I guess the rest of Western will never know.
