Western's annual dry-land rowing regatta is stroking its way into the University Community Centre tomorrow with hopes to raise $1,000 for cerebral palsy.
This year's event will feature $2 massages by massage therapy students available to those who would like all their worries rubbed away.
Those interested in working up a sweat first can still register at the University Students' Council office to join a team, said USC sports commissioner Cynthia Bonn. There will be three heats of teams at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. and each team must row for 50 minutes.
Bonn explained there is a $50 entry fee for each team and members will receive free massages, food and refreshments as well as the chance to win many prizes. There will be 10 rowing machines set up in the atrium for athletes to test their endurance, donated for the occasion by Western's rowing team.
