Saying It

The wind blows your hair,
And chestnut shades make it glow, too much for you to handle.
And I know it is the good thing,
That puts me back up in you with so much care.
I'll tell you wholly that I'm slowly coming to mind.
And I want to drive with you,
Throughout every country
And let your hair sail always.
It's the way I want to see you, the way I want home to be.
I'm always grabbing it and staring right at you.
When I hold it, I hold you.
And when I've got you, I really try to
Let you feel every sign inside me,
But my walls were made way before you,
And the lights you made have already left me,
Without tears and second thoughts,
And I would still say –
It's the way I want to see you, the way I want home to be.
