Try contacting LTC yourself

Re: Improved bus service, Dec. 1

To the Editor:

This letter is in response to Jenny Morton's letter entitled "Improved bus service" dated Dec. 1.

Writing in to The Gazette and whining about the fact that you cannot get a seat on a London bus is not going to do anything to solve the problem. As well, suggesting that the USC "speak with the LTC" is a ridiculous suggestion. Why do you think the USC would be concerned with your "problem?" Perhaps you should take some initiative and contact the London Transit Commission yourself.

I understand that you have a legitimate issue concerning the lack of buses on some of the routes. Unfortunately this is a problem that any city faces when huge numbers of people use their public transit daily. My suggestion for you is to contact the LTC yourself and tell THEM about your problem and maybe they will address the issue by the time classes resume in the new year.
