The former Canadian Prime Minister who couldn't keep out Brian Mulroney but beat the pants off Ed Broadbent will visit Western today.
The right honourable John Turner will deliver a speech entitled, "Some issues facing Canada in the year 2000" at 12:30 p.m. in the Josephine Spencer Niblett Law Building, said Ryan Hilbers, a member of the faculty of law's distinguished speakers lecture series. He added Turner will also answer questions from students after his lecture and admission is free.

The University Students' Council currently has applications available for approximately 10 O-Week staff positions. "We're looking for people who will be living in London for the summer and have event planning and/or orientation experience," said USC VP-student affairs Meghan Symsyk.
Applications are due by Feb. 13 at 4:30 p.m..
