Read between the lines

Kappa Sigma fraternity is holding a book drive this week on campus and Vice President Jamie Hiscox said they are asking people to donate children's and easy reading adult books which will be distributed through the London Literacy Network.

Drop-off points for books include the King's College Students' Council office, Used Bookstore, The Spoke and the main foyer of Delaware Hall.

In a coming together of sorts, Western English professor James Reaney and his former student, Western graduate Dennis Bock, will be featured at the McIntosh Gallery on March 3 at 7:30 p.m.

Reaney will be reading from and speaking about his most recent book, The Box Social and Other Stories while Bock will be reading and speaking about his new book Olympia .

"We hope to make Western a strong community of readers who are excited and aware of newly published books," said event organizer Carolyn Young.
