Tristan

Brown eyes against
brown hair, brown skin,
a small hand
reaches up
to touch a blue sky
but it burns a
bright red
into your
tarnished soul.

A child no longer
you scream,
punch,
envy,
everything that you're not,
that you want,
that you will never have,
but don't turn your head,
don't hide your eyes,

they can't hurt you
anymore.
