Tom Baumgartner/Gazette

Basketball (men) – The men hosted Dalhousie on Sunday afternoon at Alumni Hall in exhibition action. The cagers were scorching offensively on the afternoon, burning Dalhousie92-63.

Fencing (men and women) – The first tourney of the year for the fencing team had some success on the individual side of things. In epee there were two third place finishes, one each for the men and women and a second-place finish in individual men's foil. Overall, a fairly successful weekend, with the team taking fifth place.

Squash (men) – The men went undefeated in their first tournament of the year, 4-0, to capture the team title.

Swimming (men and women) – The swim team hosted Laurier this weekend in the University Community Centre pool but were not able to put together a strong meet. Laurier easily swam away with both victories.
