I've got two words for ya

Re: Welcome to the new days, Nov. 17

To the Editor:
A big amen goes out to Rob DiTrapani for letting John Intini know what's going on. Everyone understands wrestling is fake and just a big soap opera but Johnny boy needs to realize what he is watching is just a portrayal of modern society.

No one enjoys "the day" more than I, but wrestling is boring if it is simply two guys slugging it out in the ring. If that format had not been adapted then the combined populations of New York, Los Angeles and Chicago would not tune in every week to raise some hell.

John, I'm afraid, is starting to age himself, looking back on his younger years as if there is nothing to look forward to. Looking back is fine but come on! We are not our fathers yet!

So don't take "wrasslin" for any more than you see, because I sure don't, but the next time "Stone Cold" Steve Austin cracks open a can of whoop-ass – I'll be watching. And if you're not down with that I've got two words for ya – "DON'T WATCH!"
