Don't forget to take a turn

Re: Uninformed representation, Oct. 21

To the Editor:

Mr. Ferri's letter of Oct. 21, regarding the vote to dissolve ACES, contained one major problem.

Every USC meeting has on the agenda a portion called "Comments and Questions from the Western Community." This is where absolutely ANYONE may speak about anything that concerns them. After perusing the minutes from the Sept. 30 meeting, guess what – I DON'T SEE YOUR NAME ANYWHERE.

Your right to speak wasn't an issue, you just never exercised it. There was no conspiracy to not let you speak, for you said it yourself, nobody knew who you were. I wouldn't yield to you if I had no idea who you were or what you had to say (I'd be responsible for you). In short, don't blame others because you missed your turn.
