Western roundup

Tennis (Men)

In Burlington, an underdog Western mens tennis team defeated McMaster 4-3 and McGill 7-0.

Sophomore Jamie Dunnett led the way with two singles victories and two doubles wins with teammate Dave Dodge.

Western's Ashier Ania also came out victorious in two singles matches.

The tennis team will next face Brock and Toronto next at home this weekend.

Rowing

The Western rowing team shined at the Toronto sprints with an overall second place finish for the men and an outstanding first place finish for the women rowers.

The women's charge was led by the lightweight team which won all four races it competed in. A solid performance was also seen from the heavy eight women's club.

The men were bested by Brock even after their two-man team won the doubles competition. The lightweight team finished third in its race.
