To the Editor:

In true southern Ontario style, the map of "Canada" that introduces the article on crossing Canada by rail stretches from British Columbia to Toronto, neglecting the five provinces that lie east. Then, in the body of the "article," it is claimed that Winnipeg is the fourth largest city in Canada (it is actually eighth) and you fail to mention Saskatchewan, although I know that you must have passed through it to get to the West Edmonton Mall.

Your version of Canada leaves much to be desired.
