Rugging it

On Saturday Feb. 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the women's rugby team will be running their third annual basic skills clinic.

Intended for all levels of players, the clinic will focus on high school or club players looking to improve their skills.

"It's a chance for players at Western who haven't continued on at the university level to further develop their skills," said women's head coach Natascha Wesch. "It also gives our elite players on the team a chance to see what coaching is about."

Needed for the clinic are shorts, a t-shirt, running shoes, mouth guard, water bottle, lunch, shower gear, towel and a health card.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the Thames Hall Gym and is $20 per athlete.
