Local mayoral candidates treated Western students to a few deep thoughts yesterday during the yesterday's civic election forum. Below is a sampling of some of the things that were said during the forum:



"A little boy approaches his mother and says, 'Mommy, do all fairy tales start with once upon a time?' 'No,' says the mother. Some begin with 'If I am elected.'"
