To the Editor:

This time the pacifists and the bleeding hearts have gone too far.

Professor Blackmore's comment telling people not to wear a poppy for Remembrance Day because of the current war in Afghanistan is an insult to the thousands of Canadian soldiers who died so he would be able to say ignorant comments like that.

The poppy is not about war, but about remembering the sacrifices made by the soldiers in the past and present, so we can all live in peace.
