Stone rock!

Queens of the Stone Age
Songs for the Deaf
Interscope

Rundown: If you haven't heard of Queens of the Stone Age yet, you can expect to hear much more about them in the near future. Songs for the Deaf features Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl on drums, along with contributions from A Perfect Circle's Paz Lenchantin, among others.

Key Tracks: "You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire" kicks off the CD with a bang. The popular single "No One Knows" entices listeners to get up and dance while "Six Shooter" provides a raw contrast with its harsh, screaming riffs.

Sounds Like: The music of Queens brings us back to the era of classic rock, though their sound is also influenced by the Foo Fighters and the grunge movement. Yet, instead of merely recycling old trends, Queens adds a dash of pop melody to their songs, giving them a hard rockin' sound that is truly their own.
