New A&E features!

The Local Spotlight: This is going to be a weekly feature that takes a look at cool London artists, be it bands, playwrights, actors, DJs or anyone else with any kind of talent. If you think you have what it takes to be featured, make sure to contact us. We can be found in Rm. 263 of the UCC.

From the Soapbox: For this feature, we'll ask prominent artists their opinions on current world events, whether they be entertaining or political, and we'll then publish their quotes for all to see – hopefully sparking controversy. It'll be a chance to hear what the stars have to say so that we can all change our opinion accordingly.

Free Music Fridays: Yes, this'll be exactly what you're thinking – each Friday we'll be doing fancy giveaways! Come down to UCC 263 for free shit! Note: you may have to dance or sing to win, so start practicing. It may be free, but we gotta have our fun.

12 Questions: This is a cool new interview format that will be entertaining to read, providing the artists we speak to are fun and cool (which they better be). It will appear in a simple question and answer format and appear periodically.

Hit or Miss: Our new Internet feature! It will be devoted to shining the spotlight on some sites you should check out and expose some that really suck. We will be looking for the wacky, the insane and the downright hilarious. Given the broad spectrum of the Internet, this should be an interesting feature. Look for the new Gazette Web site launch in mid-September.

So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen: A&E for 2002/2003. Love us or hate us, we are here to stay, so let us know what you think by strutting up to our office and challenging us to a duel!
