Canada's game is about to kick into high gear

Dallas Stars in the West

With the exception of the New Jersey Devils triumph in 2000, the Western Conference has had a monopoly on the Stanley Cup since 1996. Chances are, Stanley will be travelling west once again.

Sens book early tee times

This year's Eastern Conference is about as wide open as The Spoke's dance floor on a Tuesday night. Teams including the Leafs, Senators, Devils, Capitals and Flyers all have legitimate shots at winning the conference.

Another blue spring ahead

Spring brings about a tendency in London for motorists to run even more stop signs and red lights than usual. One breed of drivers in particular, easily identified by their blue and white flags flapping in the wind, really seem to have their focus elsewhere this time of year. Like four-year-olds at Christmas, Leafs fans are easily – and justifiably – distracted and excited come playoff time.
