A friend remembered

To the Editor:

My fraternity brothers and I have lost a best friend. His name is Justin R. Scott, a film student and Delta Upsilon fraternity member here at Western. He was killed in a car accident that occurred early last Saturday morning in Sandyport, Bahamas, just as he was on his way home to his parents house. He was only 24-years-old.

Justin was taking a short leave of absence from school this year in order to save money for his return to academics. He planned on graduating this fall and then applying for post-graduate work at a film school in New York City. His ultimate goal was to pursue an acting career in Toronto next spring.

Justin was an integral part of our fraternity. He was a person who we all laughed with, joked with, travelled abroad with, attended classes with, and lived with during our university careers here at Western. He never made one enemy and never could be seen without a smile on his face.

These are the memories that we will not forget, and the memories that lead us to the following point: Justin, we are all going to miss you buddy. Thanks for being a part of our lives.
