"Fun" defined for girls

Re: "Warning girls: fun boys alert," Apr. 4

To the Editor:

This is the fun boys response to the girls who wrote in about the "sleazy (correct spelling, you might want to take note) wannabe frat guys" that tried to pick them up at the Phoenix. Since neither of us can really remember if this event did indeed take place (but we're pretty sure that it wouldn't have taken place the way you described it anyways), we have compiled a list of definitions that may assist you if you are ever put into a similar situation again.

1. fun – what some people have when not attempting to act too cool for everyone at the bar.

2. pub crawl – an event where people go to many bars, wear stupid hats, "unsexy" shirts, get incredibly drunk and have fun (see definition number. 1).

3. mistaken – when someone believes that your hat says "easy fuck," when it actually says "easy fucker." You were way off.

4. delusion – you girls believing we actually were trying to pick you up. We were just having fun (you should know this one by now). I mean, we weren't the classiest guys there, but we were the only ones talking to you girls.

5. desperate – girls, if you really wanted to get our attention, there are easier ways than writing into The Gazette. If you want to go on a date, just ask... but, you'll have to wait in line.

Take Care, we'll give you notice for the next pub crawl. Which way to the UCC?
