Shooting from the Hick: Stop blowin' wind

There are a few social phenomenons that I have encountered in my day. The insane way grown adults react when free stuff is being offered is one, asinine behavior in front of home video cameras is another and the most recent uncovering is what people do when you approach them from The Gazette.

Them's the Breaks: Don't read this column

We, as students, need to maintain a healthy level of sanity when studying for those pesky exams and I have a few solutions for those angst-ridden moments when you're forced to decide between watching the greatest show on ice or studying the anatomy of mice (I know, that was bad, but I couldn't think of anything else that rhymed).

Where's Chip?: Pissin' away the bling-bling

You don't have to be a Robert Munch fan to know a promise is a promise. So when New York Rangers General Manager and coach Glen Sather got together with team owner James Dolan and promised the playoff-starved Rangers fans that the Blue Shirts would make the playoffs this year, (insert picture of Rangers putting their heads up their asses), they knew what they were saying.

Gazette Hockey Pool Winner

Congratulations goes to David Safer for his victory in The Gazette's 2002/2003 NHL hockey pool. Safer dominated the pool much of the year. Unfortunately, due to budgetary constraints, The Gazette was unable to buy this hockey nerd a life.
