Rookies step up in v-ball win

After 21 days off and a loss Wednesday to Windsor, Western’s women’s volleyball team came back in full force to dominate their game against the Laurier Golden Hawks on Saturday at Alumni Hall, winning three sets to one.

The Western’s men’s volleyball team swept their way to victory Saturday night, crushing the visiting Laurier Golden Hawks in three consecutive sets at Alumni Hall. Western served the Hawks their ninth loss this season, punishing them 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-20).


Track team rounds into form during their season opener

This past Saturday, the 29th annual track and field season opener took place in Thompson Arena. This marks the start of the competitive season for the perennial powerhouse Western Mustangs.
