A vagina thank-you

Re: "'Beaver' and 'Snatch' to Perform," Feb. 6

To the Editor:

I would just like to point out an important correction to the article that appeared in last Thursday's paper about The Vagina Monologues. In the article I was credited with organizing the preview of the show in the atrium.

In actual fact, the performance was organized as part of Women in the Arts Day (one of the theme days in WIN week II). The day was organized entirely by Liane Macdonald (WIN internal relations manager) and Julia Kerr (WIN external relations manager and co-director of the VM) in conjunction with their extraordinarily talented cast.

In addition, I would like to publicly thank and congratulate the hard work and tireless efforts of Sharon Bauer (VM producer) and Nicole Nelson (USC VP-campus issues) who have put so much of their time into The Vagina Monologues as well as having lent me their support during what has proven to by a trying and tumultuous second semester.

My congratulations and sincere thanks to the aforementioned individuals for all of their hard work and dedication to the women's movement.
