Shed some light on Sinal

To the Editor:

As far as I've been led to believe, the University of Western Ontario is one of the safest campuses in the country. Well, if we want to keep saying that, [we should] fix the lights on University Drive Bridge. I've noticed this safety hazard for two weeks now, and they have yet to be fixed.

In my first year, I heard, [what] is probably an urban legend, about a girl being raped on the bridge. [I don't know] whether or not that is true, but can we please take away the invitation that we are giving these nuts and fix the lights?

In addition, as far as I know, campus safety has always been a hot topic with the University Students' Council, so can't the current USC president get off his ass and do something about this, or does he think that just because he's only got two months left, it doesn't matter?
