CD REVIEW: Daredevil Soundtrack

Various Artists
Daredevil Soundtrack
Wind-Up

Rundown: With the success of Spiderman, the studios are trying to duplicate that seemingly winning formula, including the soundtrack. This album features testosterone-soaked alternative metal, much of which sounds like it came out of Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger's hind regions.

Key Tracks: Rob Zombie and Drowning Pool deserve props for "Man Without Fear," which sounds like a throwback to the "Crazy World of Arthur Brown." Moby also contributes a decent song entitled "Evening Rain," and Evanescence do their best Sarah McLachlan impression on "My Immortal."

Sounds Like: Bottom line: Daredevil may be blind, but after hearing this album, he might wish he was deaf.
