Sports interrogation

With the Pro Bowl and NHL All-Star game having both been played this past Sunday, and the NBA All-Star weekend set to commence this weekend, The Gazette asked the masses:

Which of the four major professional leagues has the most intriguing all-star festivities?

"Baseball's all-star weekend. They don't wear those stupid looking uniforms, but the home-run derby sucks because the favourite never wins."

–Steve Knowles

History II

"The basketball all-star weekend is the best because of the dunk contest, the showboating and it always goes to overtime. And I'm not even a basketball fan."

–Chris Doyle
MIT II

"Honestly, they're all shit."
–Nick Maragno
Sociology II

"I would have to go with baseball. It's more of an individual sport, as opposed to the other sports where so much more is involved. You get to see the best pitchers against the best hitters – you get to see the greats of the game."
–Brian Snelgrove
Western's Sports Relations Officer

"The NBA all-star weekend, because Steve Nash is playing."
–Secret Editor
