Bush - the idiotic rhetoric

Re: "Props to George W," Dec. 3

To the Editor:

Oh America, when will you cease being so moronic? Ryan Murphy, I think you're the moron! I couldn't believe that someone would put "George W" and "brilliance" in the same sentence, but then you explained it – you are an American. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but being a product of corporate America, you can never truly be a Canadian as well. Your bolld is tainted with manufactured red, white and blue.

You began by praising George W and his accomplishments. However, being a history major, you would think you would know of a little factor in "W's" success, namely George Bush Sr.. It's not hard to "defy all odds" when your well-respected daddy is paying the campaign bills. The man lost the popular vote to Al Gore – C'mon?! He's only now the most popular prez because he feeds the egotistic cancer that is America with "We are the greatest" bullshit, and wages war on anyone who is "not with them." This war is a bigger joke than you Mr. Murphy.

If someone tried killing your dad, wouldn't you want revenge? Do you think there's any other reason lil' Bush has such a hard-on for Saddam? Guns and oil – the Texas dream.

I apologize that we Canadians aren't "tough" enough and think of education and health care as a better use of resources than killing babies. You being an American/Canadian, I can see how you might be embarrassed by internationals thinking of us Canadians as polite and intelligent. Hell, we can even locate our own country on a map – how disgraceful!

In regards to our "lightweight" politicians – corporate America won't let our politicians have an opinion! For crying out loud, Bush thought our prime minister's name was Mr. Poutine! He is a moron!

You are right though Murphy, it is time something is done – America should stop ramming their ignorant ideals down the world's throat!
