Smoking etiquette

To the Editor:

I have a message for all of the smokers on campus: If you need to smoke, I have no problem with it; however, I do have a problem when I am forced to walk past a wall of smokers when entering or exiting almost every building on campus.

If you want to slowly kill yourselves – that's fine, but please realize that not everyone shares your love of carcinogens. I don't mean to generalize; there are some considerate smokers on campus, but to those who can't be bothered to walk the extra 10 metres away from the doors, please consider that there are people who actually enjoy breathing fresh air.
