Mustangs look Raptor-like

Saturday night's men's basketball game between the Western Mustangs and the Ottawa Gee Gee's at Alumni Hall was a see-saw battle.



Volleyball team down to nitty gritty

A small, but loud and loyal, group of fans showed up on Sunday afternoon at Alumni Hall to support the Western Mustangs men's volleyball team. Unfortunately for the Mustangs, their fan support did not translate into a win, as they lost to the Toronto Varsity Blues in three straight sets.



Sports interrogation: Is LeBron the next M.J.?

The Gazette's question in this week's sports interrogation is:

Will LeBron James (the high school basketball phenom who is to go first overall in the National Basketball Association draft, and who has been aptly dubbed "The Chosen One") live up to all the hype and blossom into an NBA superstar, or will he just be another Sam Bowie?.
