Tragedy opens eyes?

To the Editor:

Isn't it typical that the spendthrift, whoop-de-do City of London suddenly fast-tracked approval of a homeless shelter after a homeless woman (university graduate) died in a vacant building, blocks away from City Hall?

One wonders if the whining clock-watchers at City Hall know how many Londoners in 2003 do not have a job that pays a living wage. No charge for this opinion!
