The fencing team is getting a lot of love this week (a full page feature will appear in the sports section tomorrow), but the performance of Derek Rhodenizer of the fencing team deserves recognition, and it comes in the form of the famous Purple Pipe.

This weekend, the Mustangs men's hockey team hosts the powerful Thunderwolves from Lakehead University on Friday and Saturday night at Thompson Arena. Both games start at 7:30 p.m..



Got $650 million? Buy the Dodgers

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Former New York sports executive David Checketts has made a $650 million US offer to buy the Los Angeles Dodgers, but the deal must include one of News Corp.'s moneymaking cable channels, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.
