Centre Spot: buy me a microwave

To the Editor:

It's amazing what 30 minutes of waiting in a line will do to someone whose only wish is to heat up their cold spaghetti leftovers from the previous evening. So, I figured it was time that something was said.

I'm writing this letter in regards to Centre Spot having only one microwave. I believe it is imperative that whoever is in charge of these matters buy another microwave to end the senseless lineups that occur during the lunch and dinner hours.

There are numerous students who cannot afford the overpriced food selections offered by food services on campus, and therefore choose, or are forced, to bring their own. In having two microwaves, students will continue to buy products from Centre Spot, but they will also have the option of heating up their own meals without waiting in a ridiculous lineup.

I realize that, in having one microwave, they are encouraging/compelling students to buy their food. That being said, I believe it is about time that Centre Spot give back to the students and buy them another microwave.
