I tried to vote in the University Students' Council elections shortly after voting was supposed to be open. When I went to the USC's Web site I discovered that the voting was not available at that time I didn't try voting again.
Now, I see that the USC is implementing a dental plan that I have never heard of. The election ballot included a question on whether I would be in favour of implementing a dental plan. I most certainly would not like to implement such a plan, and I would have appreciated an opportunity to have said so. I am told that the USC publicized the dental plan at their presidential forums.
The USC must realize that they reach maybe one per cent of the student body through those [forums]. Were they not concerned that the other 99 per cent of us were not informed?
