Sonnet No 3

From thy love
my heart has grown,
Thou hast
made me see the light;
I have met
a world before unknown,
That gives my heart insight.
Thy breath has made
my own air pure,
Thy voice has
caused my ears to hear;
The touch of thee
contains the cure,
That mends the ills
of youthful fear.
Sweet kisses has
my mouth had taste,
Thine lips are made of silk;
Lest time
I shall no longer waste,
Like babes that cry for milk.
     Thy love has made my own heart learn,
     For no less this soul will yearn.
