Searching for some reason with rhyme

To the Editor:

Peace is a short-term solution at most,
while war is most definitely nothing to boast.

Capitalism and greed are what run society indeed,
without neither of these,
our world could be a better place to culture a seed.

What most don't understand,
is that war and peace are alike,
both struggle for reason with no end in sight.

I am not saying that peace is so bad,
but why in this world have we never been glad,
to leave well alone,
letting nature's course flow,
could it be that it's human nature to try and conquer the throne?

There must be a reason the world is like this,
for evolution and science most definitely predict,
that chaos and lust are so common to us,
so why must some people sit at the back of the bus,
and whine and complain and quarrel about rights,
please get off your ass and put up a fight.

Whatever your passion driven from feelings of heart,
its is not too late to get up and start,
to show how you feel,
however that may be,
understanding that others may be unable to see,
what you are trying to accomplish,
not wanting a fee,
so make sure your actions represent your thoughts to a "T."

The ones with the courage to fight for their rights,
are the people which whom we must never lose sight,
for these are the people who stand strong and hard,
ones who seemingly never let down their guard.

Hopefully, this war will be swift and not last,
for many out there have been unfaithfully cast,
in the middle of a mess that they can understand,
so please God,
lend them a hand.
