McKie taking game to Norway

Ryan McKie has been given a great opportunity to experience another country's history, culture and way of life, and he gets to play professional hockey while doing it.

Under review: Annika is just taking up space

Following in the footsteps of women's sports "pioneers" such as Babe Zaharias, Billie Jean King and Manon Rheaume, Annika Sorenstam is taking her game to the PGA Tour.

What the Shuk?: Give Sorenstam a shot

Some of the PGA Tour's biggest names are complaining because Annika Sorenstam is playing in the Colonial Tournament. It "reeks of a publicity stunt," wails Nick Price. She "has her own tour," cries Vijay Singh.

Word on the street...

Annika Sorenstam will be competing at the Colonial Invitational this weekend. Vijay Singh recently claimed in an Associated Press interview that he would not play if paired with Sorenstam, saying "[She] doesn't belong out here...this is a man's tour. There are guys out there trying to make a living."

The Gazette gauged the reaction of Singh's comments.
