Monsters in the Closet

They are punk musicians from Ajax, ON. But they are not the typical Ajax punk rockers. And they are definitely not a Sum 41 clone.


Phantasmagoria investigates grey area

Robert McCallum is a fourth-year honors film student at Western and recently sat down to discuss his latest project, Phantasmagoria. The short film blends styles of documentary and fiction, and explores both individual and cultural relationships with the news media.


Sweeps Month strikes again!

It's November, which means TV networks are currently in the midst of Sweeps month, where ratings are used to set the ad rates for the next year. It's also called Sweeps month because it's usually around this time networks sweep the crappy new shows out of their lineup. Let's look at some of the gimmicks shows are turning to in order to attract new viewers.

"I want to be an astronaut or a fireman or a baseball player," says P.J. Sparks, drummer for The Living Daylights. The rock trio consists of Sparks, Corey Windover on guitar and vocals and Dan Ainsworth on bass.
